  • March 16 — James Madison Birthday. Father of the Constitution.
  • April 13 — Thomas Jefferson Birthday. Author of the Declaration of Independence. Leader of the "Revolution of 1800".
  • April 19 — Patriots (Militia) Day. Battle of Lexington and Concord.
  • July 4 — Independence Day. Signing of the Declaration of Independence.
  • September 5 — Jury Rights Day. Anniversary of date when a jury, led by Bushell, acquitted William Penn, in 1670.
  • September 17 — Constitution Day. Completion of the drafting of the Constitution in 1787.
  • December 15 — Bill of Rights Day. Effective date for the first ten amendments to the Constitution in 1791.

  3. Citizens for Legal Reform — Meets in Dallas, Texas, but worth spreading to other cities across the country and world. Included is essay, "The Essence of Government", by Alfred Adask. No longer meeting but needs to be restarted and replicated everywhere.
  4. Jefferson Forum — Meets in West Houston, Texas, monthly, usually at 8620 Windswept Lane Houston, Texas 77063, 713-975-6000. Contact Kamron Kirkconnell.
  5. Austin Distinguished Speakers — Hosted by Travis County Libertarian Party. Usually meets monthly on the 3rd Sunday at the LCRA Hancock Bldg, 3700 Lake Austin Blvd, at 4:00-6:00 PM.
